Basic training for pet bird or parrot

Introducing a behavioral marker or bridge and advanced training

With any bird or pet parrot you need to establish a strong and positive relationship with excellent communication and teach your bird the most important part of this process. We plan to show you how to create a relationship between eating and an audible indicator, which will be the first stage of training.

Some of the things that you need for this training session are:

You

Your bird

Ideally, a clique or whistle (behavioral marker or bridge), although you can use your own voice ("good boy / girl")

Your favorite bird food as a cure

When you decide to start training, you should evaluate your current relationship with your bird. If the bird is handmade, it will be very friendly and receptive to you, obviously everything is progressing much faster than a nursing parent who may fear you.

You must first find your favorite bird because you can keep them as a treat. Put several items together and take them several times to your bird and see which of them are taken regularly.

After determining your favorite behavior, keep some of these for training sessions, just make sure they are small.

In the first training session you want to keep it short and sweet. Everything is needed to establish a relationship between food and markers.

For example, if we use a ticker as a marker, we will cure the bird and click on the bird in the exact moment it loses you. When done before or after the task, the button does not have the same effect when it is pre-run. If the parrot is nervous and does not eat your food, you can place the treatment near and let the bird rotate over it and take it, once again by clicking on the exact moments that the treatment is taken.

Depending on the type and the individual, this may be a meeting or it can be twenty. All birds learn at different rates. More accurate click times though usually means much faster transfer. Treat behavior for delicate behavior when presenting your behavior. If the bird is moving away from you, you should not be treated until it moves towards you. It's about the fools of both genders and nursing parents. If any violation has been shown to you, you can pause again for a moment, because the treatment behavior rewards this behavior.

Always remember when you are treating a bird, at that time you reward the bird's behavior. You always reward good behavior and try to be immoral.

The reason for this relationship between the marker and the treatment is that when you practice other behaviors with your bird, your marker will do exactly what you did at the exact time, and will notify the bird to learn behaviors much faster. This is a very positive trend, and your bird will respond well when it comes to recognizing that bonuses and mental stimulation are involved. It should always be fun for both of you to ensure short sessions and rewards for any positive behavior.

When the bird realizes that clicks, whistles or singing means "cure", it's time to go some fun to basic education. There may be several sessions for your bird to understand. The best way is to do a test, use your marker, and find a physical response from your bird. Most birds tend to be unattractive because they will soon measure noise with cure.

It is then taught to teach some behaviors!

One of the first things I would recommend doing your bird practitioner is to do a "boost" exercise, either by hand or by hand.

Some of the things you should remember before:

Always for short and frequent meetings (ideally 1 to 5 minutes)

Always use positive reinforcement. Never be physically or judiciously punished if you are affected or disappointed, it's best to end the training session.

Always try to finish the training session in a positive note, if your bird does not understand something, it is a return to behavior that understands and reinforces it.

Make sure there is only one trainer that teaches behavior. When your bird has some exercises and continuously offers behavior, put all your family members under your supervision and training. The key is stability!

When your bird has gained mastery of skill, practicing in a calm and entertaining way is a great way to get a lot of attention to your bird.

How to train your bird to walk

Choose the word you use. No matter what word or phrase you use, you must be consistent.

Choose a quiet time without any distraction – a bird that does not eat or eat is not very interesting to education.

Keep your finger, arms or hands up to the bird, place the bird's belly over your legs. Make sure you're close enough to be an easy step for your bird.

You want to boost any motions to the red, so if your bird moves towards you, you can use your marker and reward your bird by treatment.

The goal is to encourage your bird to call your pond with the pond. If the call is red, a bigger reward should be given. If your bird cleans one foot, this should also be specified and rewarded. When an optimal behavior is provided, always make sure you use your marker at that exact time, and work towards the full step of the valve. When your bird rises upwards, with one leg or both, they will boost and praise them.

As your bird is rising, you can begin to decrease the frequency of behavior, so that eventually your bird can happily can quickly for your praise.

When you want your bird to walk, the same training is in reverse. Naturally, birds tend to reach a higher position, so by lowering the sea below the target, the bird naturally wants to go higher. Once again, you will celebrate the movement towards the destination and reward bigger rewards, especially when the bird rides you to the summit.

Always on short and duplicate sessions (usually 1 to 5 minutes)

Always use positive reinforcement. Never be physically or lawfully punished. If you feel tense or disappointed, it is best to end this course.

Always try to end the training session positively, if your bird does not understand something, go back to the concept of behavior and reinforce it.

Make sure only one training trainer is behaving. Once your bird performs some practices and constantly behaves, try all family members under your supervision and instructions. Stability is the key!

When your aircraft has mastered boost skill, moving exercises in a convenient and enjoyable way is a great way to get a lot of attention to your birds.

How to teach your bird to walk

Choose the word you use. It does not matter which word or phrase you use, but it must be consistent.

Choose a comfortable time without distraction – the bird will not be ready or not ready for training in the future.

Keep your finger, hand or finger in front of the bird, put the bird's belly directly above your feet. Make sure you're close enough to be an easy step for your birds.

You want to motivate the movements of the movement towards the red, so if your bird moves towards you and you can use your marker and give the aircraft a treat.

The goal is to encourage your fans to be joined by their legs. If the connection is made with the pond, a larger bonus should be allocated to it. If your bird moves forward, you must also recognize it and reward it. When the behavior is introduced, make sure you always use your mark at that time and try to reach a full step forward. When you go to the plane, with one foot or both, give them a lot of praise and appreciation.

As your bird gets better, you can start to decrease the number of flavors to make your bird eventually reach your luck.

When you want to cancel your plane, the same training applies in the opposite direction. Naturally, birds tend to go to a higher location, so when the fall falls below the target, the bird naturally wants to move upwards. Again, it rewards the movement towards the destination, and especially when the plane bends from the chicken, it compensates for the bigger reward.
